The short version

  • REART LLC runs reartbuild.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and who we share it with.
  • We collect what we need to process your order, deliver it, and help you: things like your name, email, shipping address, and order details.
  • We don't see or store your full card number. Payments are handled by Shopify's secure checkout, including Shop Pay and Apple Pay.
  • We use cookies, analytics, and advertising pixels (such as Meta and TikTok) to run the store and show relevant ads. You can opt out.
  • We don't sell your personal information for money. Under California law, some advertising uses may count as "sharing," and you can opt out of that.
  • If you live in California or another state with privacy laws, you have rights to access, delete, and correct your data, and more. See "Your US state privacy rights" below.

1. Who we are

REART LLC ("REART," "we," "us," or "our") is a single-member LLC registered in Wyoming, located at 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. We operate the online store at reartbuild.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy applies when you visit the Site, buy from us, or contact us.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number (if you provide one).
  • Order details: shipping and billing address, products bought, order history, and payment confirmation details.
  • Account details: if you create an account, your login details and saved addresses.
  • Customer support messages: what you send us by chat or email, including photos (for example, of a damaged package or a missing piece).
  • Marketing preferences: if you sign up to hear from us.

Payment information

Payments are processed through Shopify's checkout, including Shop Pay and Apple Pay. Your full card number is handled by Shopify and its payment partners (or by Apple for Apple Pay). We do not see or store it.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we and our partners automatically collect certain information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, such as:

  • device and browser type, IP address, approximate location (based on IP), and language;
  • pages you view, links you click, products you look at or add to your cart, and how you got to the Site;
  • the date and time of your visits.

Information from others

We may receive information from our service providers and partners, such as Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers (delivery status), and advertising platforms (for example, how our ads performed).

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • process and deliver your orders, including payments, shipping, tracking, and returns;
  • answer your questions and provide customer support, including sending missing pieces;
  • send order updates and other service messages;
  • send marketing emails or messages if you have agreed to receive them (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • run, secure, and improve the Site, including preventing fraud;
  • understand how people use the Site through analytics;
  • show you relevant ads and measure how well they work;
  • comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Who we share your information with

We share personal information only as needed with:

  • Payment providers, including Shop Pay and Apple Pay, to process your payment.
  • Fulfillment and shipping partners, to pack and deliver your order (our kits ship from China, so your name, address, and order details are shared with our fulfillment partner there and with the carriers that deliver to you).
  • Chatwoot, the tool we use to manage customer support chat and email.
  • Analytics providers, such as Shopify Analytics, to understand how the Site is used.
  • Advertising partners, such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok, through pixels on the Site, to show and measure our ads.
  • Legal and safety, when required by law, to respond to legal requests, protect our rights, or prevent fraud.
  • Business transfers, if REART is involved in a merger, sale, or similar transaction.

5. Cookies, pixels, and ads

Cookies are small files saved on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies to make the store work (for example, your cart and checkout).
  • Analytics cookies to understand how the Site is used.
  • Advertising cookies and pixels (such as the Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel) to show you REART ads on other sites and apps and to measure results.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and our cookie banner or privacy choices link (where available). Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. You can also adjust ad settings directly on Meta and TikTok.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser, as required by law.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, for example to fulfill your order, handle returns and support, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. After that, we delete or anonymize it.

7. How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on Shopify's secure, encrypted checkout for payments. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some states), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your US state privacy rights (including California)

If you live in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). Residents of several other states (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others) have similar rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know and access: ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we share it with, and get a copy.
  • Delete: ask us to delete your personal information, with some legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for taxes).
  • Correct: ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of advertising pixels (such as Meta and TikTok) may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, or a "sale," under some state laws. You can opt out at any time.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and profiling, where your state law provides this right.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require offering this right.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
  • Appeal: if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.

Categories of personal information we collect (last 12 months)

  • Identifiers: name, email, postal address, phone number, IP address, online identifiers.
  • Customer records: billing and shipping details. (Full payment card numbers are handled by our payment processors, not by us.)
  • Commercial information: products viewed, bought, or returned.
  • Internet activity: browsing and interaction data on the Site, collected by cookies and pixels.
  • Approximate geolocation: based on IP address.
  • Audio/visual information: photos you send to customer support.
  • Inferences: shopping interests based on the above, used for advertising.

We collect these from you, your device, and our service providers, for the purposes listed in Section 3, and we share them with the categories of recipients listed in Section 4. Identifiers, internet activity, and inferences may be "shared" with advertising partners as described above. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

How to make a request

  • Email: support@reartbuild.com, with the subject line "Privacy request."
  • Opt out of sale/sharing: use the "Your Privacy Choices" link on the Site or email us.

To protect you, we will verify your identity before acting on access, deletion, or correction requests, usually by matching information you give us with what we have on file (such as your email and order number). You can use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that they are allowed to act for you. We will respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days under the CCPA).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date. If changes are significant, we will let you know in a reasonable way.
